Description
This carry-all kit ties up into a cute, compact 4.5”x4.5”x5” blossom that closes with a button and can be carried by a tie handle. The kit then blooms open to lay flat on any table top, airplane tray, or flat surface. The handy storage pockets and built-in pincushion keeps all of your notions organized and safe so that you can stitch on the go with ease!
Materials:
- Quilting weight cotton or lightweight canvas
- ByAnnie’s Soft and Stable foam (small size) OR 1/2yd mid-weight interfacing and batting
- 1/4” elastic
- sewing thread
- embroidery floss
- Wonder Tape
- ground walnut shells
- hand sewing and embroidery needles
- 1/2“ or 5/8” button
- optional: 1/2” ribbon
Interior: 1/4yd
Exterior: 1/4yd
Contrast 1: 1/8 or 1/4yd*
Contrast 2: 1/8 or 1/4yd*
Contrast 3: 1.5”x24” strip or 24” of ribbon
*If you are unsure where you will be using each fabric
it is best to get 1/4yd of 3-4 fabrics to be safe.
Using all 3 contrast fabrics is optional.
